A new car AND a new job. WOW. Everything always works out for the darnedest reasons. If only I had a new man, today would have been perfectly hunky-dory. I half-kid.

Watching students bike around the USC campus today reminded me of Berkeley and Sweden. I miss both.

We can get back up again. It's not too late to get back up again.

I went to Target for the first time since I left for Sweden with Esther and Hannah. I adore Target. To celebrate, I frivolously bought a love-themed photo album which I have absolutely no use for but which I think is very pretty. =]

I've been getting evocative tingles of Sweden.

Six days before I left Sweden, my friends finally told me how ridiculous I looked on my bike, miserably hunched over my handlebars, and with my knees nearly reaching my chest while pedaling.

Six days before I left Sweden, I learned that not only could the bicycle seat be raised, but the handlebars as well.

I've been home exactly one month now, but it feels much, much longer. I've come back, realizing new and better things about myself, people, and life in general, and it's been difficult to see those who haven't changed at all. And yet paradoxically, it still comforts me a little to encounter the lack thereof to know that it is not concurrent with my own developments. Because then I know it's for myself, and myself alone. And that's a good thing.

But things changed, and that's the way it is

Today was my first experience of having the interviewer persuading the interviewee to decline a job position with a compliment one can only classify as slightly insulting.

Whenever two no-lifes get together and decide to be gluttonous heifers, the results are always disappointing.

I'm enjoying simplifying my life.
