:resigned face:
Out of sight, out of mind. Senor, I have kicked yo ass to the curb. Be gone with you.
:sad face:
I just got home from the library after being delayed an extra 30 minutes because the 110 was closed. It normally doesn't take me too long to find an alternate route, but for various reasons, tonight happened to be the night where I drove around downtown LA twice, ended up on Sunset, and wandered around in Silver Lake until I found the 101. And throughout this most not fun ordeal, I thought that a GPS would be awfully handy. And then my tired brain reminded me that I actually do have a brand spanking new one sitting unopened in its box because I don't know yet how to use it. And then the 48 degree Fahrenheit chill crept up my feet and legs and reminded me that I also have yet to learn how to operate the heater in the new car.
:tentative happy face:
I made a promise with someone to openly share once committed and able to do so. With a thumb 도장.
Good night.

Back in college, Roymund and I once made lists of the reasons why we loved the rain. If I remember correctly, people thought we were ridiculous, particularly Roy. hahaha
I thought of yet another reason tonight. It rarely rains in LA these days, but back at Cal with all the crazy downpours and storms, I used to watch the water gush along the side of the roads into the storm drains, carrying with it filth, gunk, and trash. And no matter how gloomy and dark it was that day, the next morning would always be bright, and new, and shining. It'd be a cathartic sweeping away of the gross and ugly with the promise of better things to come.
I wish I could wash away everything that happened tonight down a similar storm drain (without subsequent pollution of the nearby oceans and rivers) and make it be gone forever. And wake up tomorrow morning, *poof* with all the ugliness gone and only excitement and happiness of what the day has in store for me.
I'm so effed for finals. And now I want a gusher.
