My second day back from a prolonged hiatus was naturally spent reacquainting myself with the past. Albeit a bit embarrassing, it's times like these I regret not having been more dedicated. But there's some major comfort in knowing that some things have remained the same... family during the holidays, friends who've been here through thick and thin, and of course, random excited utterances about food.
